Gormans Clifftop House & Restaurant

Sile and Vincent Gorman’s guest house and restaurant is perched over the cliffs on the western tip of the Slea Head Peninsula near Ballydavid village. The beauty of the rugged coastline, rhythm of the sea and the sun going down on Smerwick Harbour can be enjoyed over a delicious dinner in the smart dining room. The menu includes produce from the garden, local seafood and lamb. Bedrooms are comfortably proportioned and thoughtfully equipped and have breathtaking views of the ocean or mountains. the ground floor rooms are adapted for the less mobile. Bracing cliff walks can be accessed across from the house. Gormans was last year’s AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Ireland (2011-2012).
